Job summary

Arup is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead architectural activities and ensure alignment with the firm’s Digital Technology Strategy. You will collaborate with stakeholders, engineers and developers to deliver design artefacts and drive architecture-driven improvements.

The role requires relevant EA experience in consulting, proficiency with modelling tools, and a focus on business, data, application tech, infrastructure and security.

Qualifications

• Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture experience in a consulting environment.
• Proficiency in Enterprise Architecture modelling and diagramming software.
• Architecting solutions with focus on business, data, application technology, infrastructure, security, performance, scalability and reliability.
• Contributing to strategic initiatives using architecture modelling tools and industry techniques.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the delivery of significant and complex enterprise architecture activities or projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers and developers to prepare architectural design documents and artefacts.
• Identify architecture-driven improvements to continually improve service quality and reduce costs.
• Support the Digital Technology strategy and align architecture work with business goals.

• Working as part of the Architecture team, and Digital Technology as a whole, you will be accountable for the delivery of significant and complex enterprise architecture activities or projects.
• You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, engineers and developers to prepare architectural design documents and other artifacts that achieve design goals at an advanced level.
• Identify architecture driven improvement to continually improve service quality and reduce costs.

Is this role right for you?

• You will have a recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar area.
• You will have relevant Enterprise Architecture & Solution Architecture experience within a consulting business environment.
• You will be proficient in Enterprise Architecture modelling and diagramming software
• Architecting solutions (TOGAF a preference) with a focus on business, data, application technology, infrastructure, security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Contributing to strategic initiatives.
• Architecture modelling tools, techniques and processes, and an awareness of relevant industry techniques.
