Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking an AI engineer to design, build, and operationalise advanced AI and GenAI systems at enterprise scale in the UK. You will bridge prototypes to live solutions, scale AI responsibly, and ensure business impact across Azure, GCP, or AWS.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, governance, and guardrails while embedding ethics and safety throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale AI/ML systems.
• Strong understanding of MLOps governance and best practices.
• Proficiency with cloud-native data and AI architectures across major clouds.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and implementing robust MLOps framework, governance and best practices as per industry standards.
• Designing and delivering end-to-end AI/ML systems, from data preparation and model development to model deployment, feature stores, model management and monitoring model management.
• Delivering solutions using the latest GenAI and Agentic Frameworks, such as ADK, Langgraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, Llamaindex and other
• Translating AI use case requirements into data and AI architectures using the most suitable cloud services across hyperscalars
• Architecting and implementing Generative AI solutions, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and orchestration of large language models across Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Embedding safety, evaluation, and assurance mechanisms across the AI lifecycle, ensuring solutions are ethical, explainable, and responsible.
• Translating business and functional requirements into technical blueprints and guiding multi-disciplinary teams to execute them.
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Data Scientists and Business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions drives business value and impact.
