Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a General Practitioner with Extended Role (GPwER) in ENT to deliver outpatient ENT services within a community or integrated care setting. You will contribute to improving access to specialist ENT care and support primary care capability.

The post-holder will deliver ENT outpatient clinics, triage referrals and provide Advice and Guidance to colleagues, and will educate and train general practitioners and wider healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a GP in the General Medical Council.
• CCT or equivalent approved training in General Practice.
• Enhanced DBS with Barred List clearance.
• GMC revalidation and annual NHS appraisal in line with policy.

Responsabilités

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of ENT-related conditions in outpatient settings.
• Undertake triage referrals from primary/secondary care and provide Advice and Guidance to primary care colleagues.
• Deliver specialist ENT outpatient clinics and collaborate with secondary services for appropriate referrals.
• Support education and training of GPs and other healthcare professionals; participate in MDT meetings and audits.
