Job summary

North Kent Colleges Group is seeking an Enrichment & Engagement Officer to develop and deliver an inclusive enrichment programme across our colleges. You will create opportunities that build confidence, resilience and employability, while encouraging student involvement and leadership.

You will collaborate with curriculum and support teams, engage students through sports, volunteering and events, and foster external partnerships to broaden enrichment offerings in a safe, accessible environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people or students in education, youth, community or similar settings.
• Experience planning and delivering activities, events or programmes.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

North Kent Colleges Group is seeking a dynamic, creative and motivated Enrichment & Engagement Officer to develop, coordinate and deliver an exciting, inclusive enrichment programme across our colleges. What you’ll do:

• Develop and deliver an exciting, inclusive programme of enrichment activities, clubs, events and student-led opportunities.
• Create opportunities that build confidence, resilience, employability and life skills.
• Work with curriculum and support teams to expand and diversify enrichment across the College.
• Engage students through sports, volunteering, fundraising, social action and other activities.
• Listen to student feedback and use it to improve participation and the enrichment offer.
• Build partnerships with employers, charities, community and sports organisations.
• Promote the College’s Enrichment brand and encourage students to get involved.
• Support College events and ensure all activities are safe, inclusive and accessible.

We’re looking for a creative, proactive and enthusiastic individual with experience of working with young people or students in an education, youth, community or similar setting, and experience of planning and delivering activities, events or programmes. You’ll have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and external partners. You’ll be flexible, hands‑on and solutions‑focused, with a genuine commitment to inclusion, student voice and personal development. You’ll also have Level 2 English and Maths (Grade 5 or above) and a First Aid at Work qualification or be willing to undertake First Aid training.
