Enhanced Teaching Assistant (Grade 5)



30 hours per week; Term-time only + 2 weeks

Grade 5

Temporary (in the first instance) – required from 1st September 2025 to 31st August 2026



The Headteacher and Governors of Seaham Trinity Primary School are seeking to appoint a skilled, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is prepared to be flexible with work across any age range from Early Years to KS2.



The position is temporary in the first instance.





We are looking for a motivated, dedicated individual who will work as part of our committed, happy team to help continue to raise standards and meet pupils’ needs.





The successful candidate will:



• Be able to support with all aspects of teaching and learning

• Be an excellent, reflective practitioner who sets high expectations for all pupils

• Be a team player who works well and communicates effectively with all colleagues,

• Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills

• Be willing to involve themselves in the wider life of the school

• Be proficient and knowledgeable in supporting children with SEND
