Teaching Assistant Apprentice, 37 hpw (Term time only)

(Sea View Primary School)

£8.22 ph (for the 1st Year and then age relevant)



Required from September 2025




This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced and dedicated team of teaching professionals who will support you in gaining a Teaching Assistant qualification. The Governors and Head Teacher at Sea View Primary School would like to appoint a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to work towards a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.



You will be required to attend in-set training days and 2 twilight training sessions per academic year.



If you love to support young people and make a difference, this is your chance to take your first steps into the classroom. The successful applicant will work under the guidance of teaching/non-teaching staff to undertake a range of learning activities with pupils in line with school’s policies and procedures



For this apprenticeship the following are required:

  • Maths andEnglish Level 2 Functional Skills or GCSE qualifications grade A* to C (or 4 to 9).

  • ECHP: For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement the apprenticeships English and Maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3 and British Sign Language qualification are an alternative to English qualifications for whom this is their primary language.
