An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in London seeks a versatile and enthusiastic educator to join their team as an English and Drama Teacher. This is a unique full-time, permanent opportunity to teach across two highly complementary subjects, fostering creativity, communication, and a love of language and performance within a vibrant school community.

Responsibilities:

The successful English and Drama Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in both subjects to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (with potential for Key Stage 5). You will cultivate students' reading, writing, speaking, acting, and performance skills, inspiring a passion for literature and theatre. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to departmental development are key duties for this English and Drama Teacher role.

Requirements:

Applicants must be a qualified teacher (QTS) with a specialism in either English or Drama (or both) and a relevant degree. Proven experience teaching both English and Drama at the secondary level is essential.
