Job summary

REESON Education is urgently seeking a qualified English Teacher for a permanent, full-time position at a secondary SEMH school in Stockport. You will teach English to secondary pupils, focusing on literacy, GCSE readiness and social, emotional and mental health needs.

Applicants must hold QTS and have proven UK-based experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE English. Overseas-trained candidates with 3–5 years UK experience will be considered.

• Experience teaching KS3/KS4, including GCSE English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver English lessons across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE English.
• Adapt lesson content and resources to learners' needs and targets.
• Establish a positive learning environment and manage challenging behaviour.
• Support SEMH pupils with engagement and emotional regulation.
