NLCS Canons in Edgware is seeking a dynamic Teacher of English to inspire a love of literature and language across Year 7 to Sixth Form. The role is a maternity cover with flexibility for full-time or part-time (min 0.8fte), starting April 2027.

You will deliver engaging, challenging, and intellectually stimulating lessons, and maintain high expectations, fostering curiosity, reading, writing and critical thinking in all students.

Qualifications

• The ability to communicate a genuine passion for English and to inspire students of all abilities is essential.
• You will teach English across the School, from Year 7 through to Sixth Form.
