Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an ambitious English Teacher for KS3 and KS4 on a temporary (fixed-term) basis in the Haywards Heath area. The role offers scale-matched pay (£140-£233 per day) and immediate start, with paid weekly remuneration and access to CPD and development pathways.

You will deliver the English curriculum, use data to close attainment gaps, lead classrooms with strong behaviour management, and act as a Form Tutor supporting student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• QTS mandatory for the role.
• Degree in English (BA/MA) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school.
• A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum for KS3 and KS4 English.
• Use data-driven progress to close attainment gaps.
• Maintain an inclusive learning environment with effective behaviour management.
• Provide pastoral support as Form Tutor to students.
