Job summary

Teaching Personnel Cardiff are recruiting a qualified Teacher of English with QTS to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in the Vale of Glamorgan. The position starts ASAP and is suitable for an experienced English teacher or NQT/ECT seeking a new role for the new academic year.

You will teach English across KS3 and KS4, contribute to pupil progress, and work with the English department to deliver engaging lessons while adhering to safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• QTS essential
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) mandatory
• Experience teaching English within a secondary school environment
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to pupil progress and achievement
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service desirable
