Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting an English Teacher for a mainstream secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf. This long-term temporary role offers an immediate start and pays on a PAYE basis with competitive daily rates.

You will plan and deliver engaging English lessons across the secondary age range, manage behaviour, and help students achieve strong academic progress, while complying with safeguarding and DBS requirements.

Qualifications

• QTS with an English specialism (NQTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum

Salary: £172.98 - £210 per day

The school is looking to appoint a passionate English Teacher on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons across the secondary age range, managing classroom behaviour and supporting students to make strong academic progress.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism (NQTs are welcome to apply)
