Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Winchester from September 2026.

This role welcomes both ECTs and experienced teachers, offering Full-Time/Part-Time options with a long-term contract and daily pay rates £168–£232.

You will deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4, develop literacy and analytical skills, and contribute to a positive school community with strong professional development and supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• QTS is required for this role.
• Strong subject knowledge in English is essential.
• Experience teaching English at secondary level is expected.
• Early-career teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.
