Job summary

Birley Academy in Sheffield is seeking an English Teacher to join as a flexible supply educator. The role covers delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, planning and adapting lessons to support all learners, and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

You should hold QTS or an equivalent qualification, have experience teaching English at secondary level, and demonstrate strong behaviour management and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Qualified to teach English with QTS or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English at secondary level.
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management.
• Clear communication and professionalism.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Birley Academy to recruit an English Teacher to join the school on a flexible supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about English and committed to helping students develop strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.

The role includes:

• Delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
