Job summary

Educato Recruitment is assisting a secondary provision in Rochdale to recruit an enthusiastic English Teacher to support pupils who may have struggled to engage with mainstream education. You will bring English to life while building confidence in reading, writing, comprehension and communication.

We seek someone patient, resilient and capable of adapting lessons to individual needs, with QTS preferred and experience in AP/PRU or SEMH settings being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching English at secondary level, ideally including GCSE.
• Able to manage a classroom and engage pupils with varying levels of motivation.
• Patient, resilient and able to adapt teaching approaches.

Educato Recruitment is working with a secondary alternative provision in Rochdale to recruit an enthusiastic and adaptable English Teacher to support secondary-aged pupils who may have struggled to engage with mainstream education.

This is an opportunity for someone who can bring English to life, helping pupils develop their reading, writing, comprehension and communication skills whilst building their confidence in the classroom. Pupils may have gaps in their education or require a more individualised approach to learning, so the ability to adapt lessons and provide additional support is essential.
