Job summary

Pertemps Education Network is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher for a Reading school on a temporary basis with immediate start.

You will deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, plan and assess work, and foster a positive learning environment. DBS on Update Service is required or willingness to obtain one.

• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Reading (RG1) on a temporary basis.

This role is initially to provide cover until the end of September, with the potential for the contract to be extended for the right candidate.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
