Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking flexible English teachers (QTS or experienced non-qualified) to cover ongoing temporary supply roles in Reading and surrounding areas. The opportunity offers day-to-day and long-term placements across various secondary schools, allowing you to choose assignments that fit your schedule.

We provide robust support with CVs, applications, and interviews, plus access to development resources.

Qualifications

  • QTS welcomed, although experienced non-qualified teachers will also be considered.
  • Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people to achieve their potential.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and school staff.
  • Commitment to equality, inclusion, and creating a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary-aged pupils.

Rate of Pay: £140 – £300 per day (Daily Rate)

About the Role

Are you an enthusiastic English Teacher looking for flexible work in Reading? We are recruiting for ongoing temporary supply opportunities, including both day-to-day and long-term placements.
