SEND Inclusion Support is recruiting an English Teacher for a fixed-term maternity cover at a therapeutic SEMH school in Oakham. You will plan and deliver English lessons, adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs while building strong relationships with pupils.

Are you an enthusiastic English Teacher who wants to do more than simply deliver lessons?

SEND Inclusion Support is working with a fantastic partner school in Oakham to recruit an English Teacher for a fixed-term maternity cover within a specialist therapeutic setting for young people with SEMH needs.

This is an opportunity to join a supportive team and work with young people who may have previously struggled to engage with mainstream education.

You will teach English while adapting your approach to the individual needs of pupils.

You'll be responsible for:

SEMH, specialist, AP or alternative education experience would be highly desirable.

Mainstream teachers with strong behaviour management skills and a genuine interest in SEMH are also encouraged to apply.

You'll be joining a friendly and supportive staff team where relationships are central to the way the school works.
