Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply English Teachers to join a pool of staff supporting a variety of secondary schools across Norwich and nearby areas. This is a perfect opportunity for qualified English teachers who enjoy variety and want the flexibility to choose when and where they work. Starting ASAP.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable) using pre-planned resources.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and provide feedback on pupil progress as required by each school.
  • Quickly adapt to different school settings, following policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous).
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills as English Teacher.
  • A valid enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Other requirements
