Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking an English Teacher for a permanent, full-time role at a secondary school in Essex, with an immediate start. The successful candidate will teach across KS3 to KS5 and contribute to high standards of learning and behaviour.

Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (M1-M6)

Are you an ECT or experienced QTS teacher with strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Essex who are looking to appoint an English Teacher. The school has been rated Good by OFSTED and provides education to pupils across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time English Teacher on a permanent basis with an immediate start. The successful English Teacher will teach across KS3-KS5, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism, with ECTs also welcome to apply
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school, including teaching placements
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum across KS3-KS5
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
