Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a North Essex secondary school to recruit an English Teacher for a permanent, full-time post with an immediate start.

The successful candidate will teach across KS3, KS4 and KS5, plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress and maintain high standards of behaviour and learning. ECTs are welcome to apply and a supportive environment is provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified English Teacher with QTS; ECTs welcome to apply.
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school.
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum across KS3-KS5.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (M1-M6)

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in North Essex who are looking to appoint an English Teacher.

The school has been rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED and provides education to pupils across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time English Teacher on a permanent basis with an immediate start.

The successful English Teacher will teach across KS3-KS5, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism, with ECTs also welcome to apply
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school, including teaching placements
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum across KS3-KS5
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
