Pay: £150 – £200 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Are you an enthusiastic and inspiring English Teacher looking for a new role in a supportive and engaging secondary school environment?
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a well-regarded secondary school in Bridlington, who are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team. This full-time position is to begin as soon as possible, or from September 2025, and will involve teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum
Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for reading and writing
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
Supporting pupils of all abilities, including those with additional learning needs
Contributing to departmental planning and school initiatives
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Have experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Be passionate about raising attainment and inspiring students through literature and language
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
