£180 - £250 Per Day (based on Qualifications and Experience)

Job Duties:
  • Deliver dynamic and engaging English lessons to students
  • Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment to encourage student participation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum and teaching materials
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance, ensuring confidentiality
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
  • Relevant degree in English or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanour
  • Strong classroom management abilities, maintaining a calm and respectful atmosphere
Education:

Degree in English or related field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching English to students, with a proven track record of success

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of English language and literature, including grammar and syntax
  • Ability to tailor lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners, using a variety of teaching strategies
  • Proficiency in educational technology and resources, providing modern and interactive learning experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs, implementing individualised education plans
Working Conditions:

The Qualified English Teacher role is located in the Redcar locality, with full-time hours for a long-term temporary position.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality English lessons and create a stimulating and supportive learning environment for students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
