Job Title: Lecturer in English (GCSE & Functional Skills)

Morgan Hunt is seeking a Lecturer to deliver GCSE & Functional Skills English at a college in Waltham Cross, East Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver the full Further Education and Training specification as the main Lecturer for your class or group.
2. Plan and coordinate lessons, resources, and support to help learners achieve their qualifications.
3. Utilize the college's online systems to monitor progress and attendance.
4. Deliver interactive lessons with clear objectives to motivate and inspire learners using up-to-date teaching methodologies.
5. Accurately complete class registers, manage admin work, and marking.
6. Perform any additional duties as required by the college.

Requirements:

• Substantial experience in the Further Education and Training sector.
• Previous experience as a Lecturer or Teacher with a successful record in retention and achievement.
• GCSEs in Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent.
• A valid DBS registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for one.
• Proven record of consistently good or outstanding teaching.
