Inspire Education Group in Peterborough is seeking a Lecturer to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills English and Maths. You will plan lessons, assess progress, and provide targeted interventions to help learners succeed and progress.

In this busy and exciting role, you will deliver engaging GCSE and Functional Skills English and Maths provision, helping learners develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed. You will create inspiring learning experiences that support achievement, progression and positive learner outcomes, while adapting your teaching to meet a diverse range of needs and abilities.
Working as part of a collaborative and supportive English and Maths team, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, monitor learner progress, provide meaningful feedback and implement effective interventions that encourage success. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and assessment whilst promoting an inclusive and aspirational learning environment.
You will also contribute to course development, quality improvement activity, learner recruitment and curriculum promotion, ensuring programmes remain responsive to learner needs and industry expectations. Through effective use of technology-enhanced learning and evidence-based practice, you will help shape an engaging and innovative learning experience for every student.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated educator with strong subject knowledge in English and/or Maths and a passion for helping learners achieve their full potential. You will have experience of delivering effective teaching, learning and assessment, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to inspire, motivate and support learners from a variety of backgrounds.
You will be a collaborative team player who embraces innovation, uses technology confidently within learning environments and is committed to continuous professional development. A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one, is essential, along with a genuine commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
