Job summary

Rokstone Group is seeking an Underwriting Assistant in London to support the Engineering portfolio. You will work closely with underwriters, brokers and internal teams to ensure accurate processing of policy life cycles and timely delivery of documentation.

The role demands strong administrative capability, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The company supports a hybrid working model in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance underwriting support, underwriting operations or broker operations.
• Understanding of policy administration and insurance documentation processes.
• Experience using underwriting and policy administration systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the underwriting team with new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations and mid-term adjustments.
• Prepare and issue quotations, binders, endorsements, policies and related underwriting documentation accurately.
• Act as a primary contact for brokers, handling enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate underwriting records and capture risk, premium and policy data in systems.
• Monitor outstanding subjectivities and broker requirements to ensure timely completion.
• Assist with portfolio reporting, MI, data analysis and renewal planning.
