Job summary

Safran Landing Systems, Gloucester OE site, is seeking an Engineering Transformation Manager to shape and deliver the Engineering transformation agenda. You will drive initiatives to improve performance, governance, and long-term capability while partnering with senior leaders to translate strategy into action.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to embed lasting improvements across Engineering and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of transformation initiatives that improve Engineering performance, effectiveness, and business outcomes.
• Partner with the VP Engineering and Engineering Leadership Team to translate strategic priorities into clear plans and measurable actions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve ways of working, and strengthen collaboration across Engineering and key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain transformation roadmaps, ensuring initiatives are prioritised, aligned, and delivered against business objectives.
• Establish governance, reporting, and performance measures to track progress, support decision-making, and provide visibility of outcomes.
• Drive engagement and commitment to change by working closely with leaders and teams throughout the transformation journey.
• Support the implementation and adoption of new approaches, ensuring improvements deliver sustainable benefits.
• Use data, insight, and stakeholder feedback to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, removing barriers, managing dependencies, and maintaining momentum.
• Provide challenge, support, and independent perspective to help leaders make informed decisions and achieve transformation goals.
• Monitor the effectiveness of transformation activity, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable value.
