Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled CAD technician to produce temporary works design drawings for excavation support, propping, formwork and falsework in a busy civil engineering environment. You will create high-quality 2D drawings and 3D Revit models, translating concepts for customers and site teams while aligning with project requirements.

Reporting to a Design Team Leader, you will work with engineers to develop layouts, details and construction solutions, gaining understanding of Mabey Hire

Qualifications

Experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD to produce 2D and 3D drawings.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
Good communication and organisational skills.
An interest in civil engineering, construction or temporary works.
Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
Experience producing drawings for civil engineering, groundworks or temporary works projects.

Responsibilities

Produce temporary works design drawings for excavation support, propping, formwork and falsework.
Create high-quality 2D drawings and 3D Revit models.

Requirements

Experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD

Experience producing drawings for civil engineering, groundworks or temporary works projects
Experience working in construction, engineering consultancy, plant hire or specialist subcontracting
HNC, BTEC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related subject
Experience with content creation in either Revit or AutoCAD

Core Competencies

Proficient in producing high-quality 2D and 3D drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, with a strong focus on civil engineering and temporary works design. Capable of managing workloads effectively while ensuring adherence to quality standards and project deadlines.
