Job summary

Mabey Hire seeks an Engineering Technician to join our engineering team. You will produce temporary works design drawings for excavation support, propping, formwork and falsework.

You will create high-quality 2D drawings and 3D Revit models, translate engineering concepts into practical drawings, and work with engineers on layouts for a wide range of civil projects. Mabey Hire offers a competitive salary, annual bonus and a strong pension.

Qualifications

• Experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• An interest in civil engineering, construction or temporary works.
• Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D drawings and 3D Revit models that clearly communicate temporary works designs.
• Translate engineering concepts into accurate and practical drawings for customers, site teams and colleagues.
• Work with engineers to develop layouts, details and construction solutions for civil projects.
• Develop understanding of Mabey Hire products and systems.
• Assist in producing equipment schedules and kit lists to support quotations and planning.
• Create fabrication and manufacturing drawings for bespoke components as required.
• Manage workload and deliver to quality standards and deadlines.
• Contribute to CAD standards and Revit content improvements.
