Job description

Job title: Engineering Technician

Job Type: Contract

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Start date: ASAP - Subject to vetting

Duration: 6 Months

Pay rate: £15.85ph PAYE or £21.51hr Umbrella

Location: Deeside, Flintshire

Hybrid/Remote Working: Fully on site role

Hours of work: 37 hours per

Role information

As an Engineering Technician your roles include the repair and overhaul of Electronic and Electro‑mechanical equipment in a timely and efficient manner whilst complying with legislative and organisational standards.

Qualifications / Experience Required
  • Electrical Background
  • Level 4 qualification and advanced/higher apprenticeship; or Level 3 qualification, a nationally recognised Electrical/Electronic engineering apprenticeship
  • Perform self‑directed Test; Diagnostics; Repair; Maintenance; Modification; Calibration and Manufacture of Equipment down to module / individual Component level
  • Carry out Feasibility and Development activity, including the Reverse Engineering and Creation of supporting engineering documentation / Test Procedures
  • Supervision: Training and Over‑Signing of Junior / Equivalent grade Staff & Apprentices when required
