Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Engineering Technicians for a major site expansion at Market Drayton, Shropshire. The role offers a £57,289 annual salary with 4 on/4 off days and nights, 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am shifts, and a comprehensive training package.

You'll perform PPM, respond to breakdowns, support improvements, and work with automated lines, PLCs, and robotics in a high-speed, hygienic production environment.

Qualifications

• Time-served Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline.
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenance.
• Experience working with automation, robotics or process equipment (desirable).
• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliability.
• Responding to breakdowns efficiently, minimising downtime in a fast-paced production environment.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering upgrades.
• Collaborating with operations to drive safety, quality and performance.
• Supporting the installation, commissioning and integration of new equipment.

They are now expanding their engineering team and looking for Engineering Technicians to play a key role in supporting a highly automated, next-generation production environment.

The rate of pay is £57,289 per annum, plus overtime!

This is a full-time role working 4 on 4 off Days & Nights. The hours of work are:

• 7am to 7pm
• 7pm to 7am

What you'll be doing:

  • Advanced compressed air systems
  • Sustainability and recycling technologies
