The Engineering Technician Role

As an Engineering Technician, your responsibilities include maintaining all plant and equipment to a high standard and according to manufacturers' specifications. You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance work.

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and legal legislation in accordance with company procedures.
• Meet expected efficiencies and quality standards of the engineering department.
• Complete all necessary training related to engineering duties.
• Carry out pre-planned maintenance effectively and record work on the maintenance log.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures within your tasks.

Requirements:

• Level 3 BTEC qualification or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Computer literate, with basic knowledge of Chrome.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety at Work and best practices.
• Professional attitude, cooperation, and confidentiality.
• High self-discipline and resilience to manage demanding workloads.
• Experience in the FMCG industry as a maintenance or project engineer is advantageous.
