The Engineering Technician Role

As an Engineering Technician, your responsibilities include maintaining all plant and equipment to a high standard and according to manufacturer specifications, utilizing your skills for both planned and reactive maintenance.

• Comply with all health, safety, environmental, and legal legislation in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure efficiencies and quality standards within the engineering department are met.
• Complete all required training related to engineering duties.
• Carry out pre-planned maintenance effectively and record work on the maintenance log.
• Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Level 3 BTEC qualification or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Proficient in computer use, with basic knowledge of Chrome.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety at Work and best practices.
• Professional attitude, cooperation, and confidentiality.
• High self-discipline and resilience to manage demanding workloads.
• Experience in FMCG industry as maintenance or project engineer is advantageous.
