A leading company in engineering solutions seeks a dedicated technician to support testing and quality assurance in their lab and manufacturing floor. The role involves collaborating with engineers, maintaining equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement projects. Supports troubleshooting both in the lab and the manufacturing floor. Sets up and conducts testing with prescribed testing requirements. Collaborates with engineers to identify testing methods, write technical reports, and summarize testing results. Responsible for maintaining all lab equipment in working condition and ensuring calibration is current. Maintains high-quality standards of work using best practices within the engineering test lab and manufacturing floor.
Qualifications include computer literacy, good documentation practices, experience with configuration management and blueprint reading (desirable), strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and effective communication across departments. Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently with limited guidance, and collaborate effectively is essential. Experience in quality assurance, control, or lab work is a plus. Basic plumbing, electrical knowledge, and familiarity with flow and pressure are highly desirable.
