Job summary

CRP Group Global Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an Engineering Technician to maintain and repair automated machinery and site facilities within a busy operations environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to minimise downtime and ensure safety and reliability across the site.

You will carry out preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, procure parts, and support continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance on automated equipment.
• Ability to fault-find and diagnose faults on automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on automated machinery.

They are looking for an experienced Engineering Technician to join their Site Services team, helping to ensure the smooth operation of automated equipment and site facilities.

The Role

As an Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and inspection of automated machinery and site facilities, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and operational. You'll work closely with operational teams, management and contractors to minimise downtime and maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on automated machinery.
• Complete routine inspections and maintenance reports.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimise operational disruption.
• Maintain engineering stock levels and spare parts inventory.
• Perform general building and site maintenance, including lighting, fixtures and minor repairs.
• Support the planning and scheduling of preventative maintenance activities.
• Produce shift reports detailing maintenance activity and equipment issues.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams across day and night shifts.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, cost savings and health & safety.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and health & safety legislation.

• Manual handling certification or willingness to undertake training.
