Job summary

Vickerstock is seeking a Technical Author / Technical Writer in Northern Ireland to translate complex engineering information into clear documentation. You will gather data from engineers, develop manuals and instructions, and maintain ongoing documentation across product lifecycles.

Required are strong writing skills, attention to detail, and experience in technical documentation within engineering/manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in Technical Writing/Documentation within engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to understand and translate engineering information into clear documentation.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Produce clear and accurate technical documentation for engineered products.
• Gather information from Engineers and subject matter experts.
• Develop, review, and update technical manuals, instructions, and supporting docs.
• Translate complex engineering information into user-friendly documentation.
• Maintain document revisions and ensure information remains current.
• Coordinate documentation requirements across Engineering and internal departments.
