Here at National Highways, we currently have an opportunity for an Engineering Team Manager to join the Southeast region Operations team. Within this role, you will be responsible for the management of Pavement asset to improve the safety and reliability of our network. This role is based at either Basingstoke or Maidstone office. Please note that you will be required to drive as part of your role, and you will need to have no more than 3 points to be considered for this position and during employment.
You will:
You will either be a Chartered or Incorporated Member of an appropriate professional body, have a relevant Degree, or have extensive relevant experience to the role. You will have extensive experience of asset management decision making (capital investment, lifecycle costs, value optimisation, service availability optimisation, social & economic knowledge). Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant technical standards, asset policies, asset operation and maintenance requirements. Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and CDM regulations. Strong leadership and communication skills, with extensive experience managing technical teams, building complex stakeholder relationships, and influencing others to achieve positive outcomes.
