Job summary

You will manage breakdowns, coordinate shift engineers, mentor staff, and drive KPIs while contributing to continuous improvement and adherence to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Good engineering knowledge gained within an FMCG environment.
• HNC or NVQ3 or higher in engineering with supervisory experience.
• Good communication and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise engineering breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Coordinate shift engineers and ensure maintenance reports are completed on time.
• Support performance management and development of the engineering team.
• Drive achievement of Engineering KPIs and departmental targets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Engineering department.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards.
• Maintain plant and equipment for safe, reliable operation.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and use of the CMMS system.
• Build relationships with Production and other support functions.
