Engineering Team Leader / Maintenance Supervisor

Northampton | £66,000 – £68,000 + excellent benefits | 4 on 4 off, Days & Nights | Permanent

We are recruiting two Engineering Team Leaders for a market-leading manufacturing business in Northampton. This is a fast-paced, highly automated and heavily invested site, and a rare opportunity to lead a small team on an exceptional salary.

The Role

You will lead a team of 3–4 multi-skilled engineers on shift, allocating work, managing performance and development, and staying hands‑on with the tools yourself. You will own your area's KPIs — unplanned downtime, MTBF, compliance to plan and spares inventory — and drive Preventative and Autonomous Maintenance to improve reliability.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience leading or supervising a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment
• HND or degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical or industrial), or a time‑served apprenticeship with strong experience
• Solid knowledge of process plant, utilities and infrastructure
• Familiarity with RCA, CBM, 5S and Kaizen
• Someone who still wants to be on the tools, not purely managing
