Job summary

Hunter Selection is currently supporting a leading manufacturing business in Bristol to appoint an Engineering Team Leader who will oversee a shift of up to 5 engineers, ensuring equipment reliability and delivering high engineering performance.

You will lead maintenance activities, coordinate planned preventative maintenance, respond quickly to breakdowns, drive continuous improvement and root-cause analysis, and collaborate with the Maintenance & Engineering Manager to raise site performance

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Engineering qualification (Level 2 or above).
• Experience leading, mentoring or supervising engineers.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Positive, proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of up to 5 engineers.
• Coordinate and oversee planned preventive maintenance activities.
• Support rapid response to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities.
• Ensure engineering standards, safety and compliance are maintained.
• Work closely with the Maintenance & Engineering Manager to improve site performance.
