Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking an Engineering Team Leader in Bristol to drive a team of up to 5 engineers on shift, ensuring equipment reliability and leading continuous improvement initiatives for top-tier production performance.

The role suits an experienced leader or a maintenance engineer moving into supervision, focusing on safety, compliance, and developing engineering talent within a well-established manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Engineering qualification (Level 2 or above).
• Previous experience leading, mentoring or supervising engineers.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of up to 5 engineers.
• Coordinate and oversee planned preventative maintenance activities.
• Support rapid response to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities.
• Ensure engineering standards, safety and compliance are maintained.
