Job summary

Safran in the UK is seeking an Engineering Talent Acquisition Specialist. You will lead end-to-end recruitment for technical and R&D roles, building strong pipelines across UK sites, with a hybrid arrangement and one day per week on-site at Pitstone.

Work with engineering leaders, optimise recruitment processes, and ensure excellent candidate experience while maintaining Safran's equal opportunity standards. This role focuses on attracting top engineering talent for 50 hires per year.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment within an agency or in-house with a focus on Technical, Engineering and R&D roles.
• Strong stakeholder management, ability to influence hiring decisions at all levels.
• Efficient, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies, projects and priorities.
• Excellent communication with proactive, transparent problem solving.
• Ability to use recruitment data and market insights to improve hiring outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for approximately 50 hires per year.
• Manage the full recruitment process from vacancy approval through to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and recruitment plans.
• Build strong talent pipelines through targeted sourcing, networking and employer branding initiatives.
• Act as a subject matter expert for recruitment within your perimeter and provide market insights.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of data in our ATS for requisitions and communications.

Your Role

Our Talent Acquisition Specialists are responsible for delivering strategic, high-quality hiring solutions that build exceptional teams and strengthen Safran's position as an employer of choice.

Focused on our Engineering job families, as a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will support all Safran businesses in the UK across roles in R&D, R&T and Engineering.

By partnering with business leaders, optimizing recruitment processes, and championing candidate experience, these roles ensure Safran attracts, engages, and retains top talent to fuel innovation and growth across all UK sites.

This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will have a fixed base at our Pitstone with an on-site requirement of at least one day per week.

• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for approximately 50 hires per year, ensuring smooth coordination, timely communication, and a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers
• Manage the full recruitment process from vacancy approval through to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and agree recruitment plans.
• Build strong talent pipelines through targeted sourcing, networking and employer branding initiatives
• Act as a subject matter expert for recruitment within your perimeter, providing insights on market trends, sourcing strategies and candidate experience enhancements
• Ensure quality and accuracy of data in our ATS for requisitions, reporting and candidate communications
