Job summary

Safran UK is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end-to-end recruitment for engineering, R&D and related roles across UK sites. The role emphasizes partnering with hiring managers, building strong talent pipelines, and delivering a high-quality candidate experience.

This hybrid position requires at least one day on site weekly at one of the South West sites (Gloucester or Cwmbran). The package includes a competitive salary and benefits to support career growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end recruitment for ~50 hires per year across UK sites.
• Manage vacancy approvals through to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and plan recruitment.
• Build talent pipelines via sourcing, networking and employer branding.
• Ensure accurate ATS data for requisitions, reporting and communications.

Job description

• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for approximately 50 hires per year, ensuring smooth coordination, timely communication, and a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers
• Manage the full recruitment process from vacancy approval through to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and agree recruitment plans.
• Build strong talent pipelines through targeted sourcing, networking, and employer branding initiatives
• Act as a subject matter expert for recruitment within your perimeter, providing insights on market trends, sourcing strategies, and candidate experience enhancements
• Ensure quality and accuracy of data in our ATS for requisitions, reporting, and candidate communications
• Apply Safran's equal opportunity principles and maintain compliance with all relevant standards
  Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment within an agency or in-house setting with a focus on Technical, Engineering and Research and Development roles
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence hiring decisions at all levels.
• Efficient, with great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies, projects, and priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, transparent and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• Ability to use recruitment data and market insights to improve hiring outcomes and optimise processes.

Your Role Our Talent Acquisition Specialists are responsible for delivering strategic, high-quality hiring solutions that build exceptional teams and strengthen Safran's position as an employer of choice. Focused on our Engineering job families, as a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will support all Safran businesses in the UK across roles in R&D, R&T and Engineering. By partnering with business leaders, optimizing recruitment processes, and championing candidate experience, these roles ensure Safran attracts, engages, and retains top talent to fuel innovation and growth across all UK sites. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will have a fixed base at one of our South West site, either Gloucester or Cwmbran with an on-site requirement of at least one day per week.
