Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Manchester is seeking an Engineering Surveyor for a major bulk earthworks project. You will set out for bulk earthworks operations, establish and maintain site control, and carry out as-built surveys, liaising with engineers and site management to ensure works meet specifications.

The role offers an immediate start on a 6-month contract with potential for further work and a competitive shift rate of £300-£400 per shift depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Engineering Surveyor on civil engineering or earthworks projects.
• Competent with GPS/GNSS and robotic total stations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the site team.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting out for bulk earthworks operations.
• Establishing and maintaining site control.
• Carrying out as-built surveys.
• Liaising with engineers and site management.
• Ensuring works are delivered accurately and in line with project specifications.
• Using Leica, Trimble or Topcon survey equipment.
