TM Green Group is recruiting an experienced Engineering Surveyor for a Bedfordshire-based bulk earthworks project. You will support muck-shift operations, establish site control, set up GPS base stations, and perform topographical surveys on site.

The role suits a hands-on surveyor capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Permanent or freelance options are available, with accommodation for those working away from home.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Engineering Surveyor on bulk earthworks/muck-shift projects.
• Strong GPS and total station capability.
• Experience with earthworks modelling, volumes, and stockpile analysis.
• Ability to work independently and manage surveying responsibilities on site.

The Role

An established earthworks contractor is seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to support major bulk earthworks and muck-shift operations on a project based in Bedfordshire.

This role would suit a surveyor with strong hands‑on site experience, capable of working independently in a fast‑paced earthworks environment. Both permanent and freelance candidates will be considered, with accommodation available for those working away from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out topographical surveys using GPS and total station
• Setting‑out for bulk earthworks operations
