Job summary

Bimplus in Manchester is seeking an Engineering Surveyor to support a major bulk earthworks project with an immediate start on a 6-month assignment. The role offers hands-on field work on a well‑established civil engineering site.

You will set out earthworks, establish and maintain site control, and carry out as-built surveys, liaising with engineers and site management to ensure accurate delivery per specifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Engineering Surveyor on civil engineering or earthworks projects.
• Competent with GPS/GNSS and robotic total stations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the site team.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting out for bulk earthworks operations.
• Establishing and maintaining site control.
• Carrying out as-built surveys.
• Liaising with engineers and site management.
• Ensuring works are delivered accurately and in line with project specifications.
• Using Leica, Trimble or Topcon survey equipment.
