Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting for an Engineering Support Operative to join a permanent team in the Nottingham area. You will help maintain system flow by responding quickly to equipment issues and carrying out basic maintenance in a technology-led engineering environment.

The role requires experience in engineering support or maintenance, a good understanding of automated equipment, and ability to work with the wider engineering team to resolve faults while maintaining health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering/maintenance or automated environments.
• 2 years' experience in a similar industry/environment.
• Proficient with maintenance of basic equipment and understanding of automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance checks on automated equipment.
• Act as first point of contact when faults occur and escalate complex issues.
• Identify system faults, blockages and performance issues.
• Carry out basic reactive and preventative repairs.
• Support continuous product flow and minimise downtime.
• Rectify product and process-related issues.
• Support equipment hygiene and housekeeping requirements.
• Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and report incidents.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve faults efficiently.
