Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualification or substantial equivalent technical knowledge and experience.
• Experience in highways, civil engineering, or related infrastructure disciplines.
• Ability to prepare and review designs, drawings and procurement documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide client, project and programme supervision for highway maintenance and civil engineering works across the borough.
• Oversee on-site construction works, monitor progress and ensure compliance with legislation, standards and specifications.
• Support third‑party client requirements and develop income opportunities through works instructions and design reviews.
• Assist in delivering the Council's highway maintenance programme to maintain infrastructure assets safely and to a high standard.
