Job summary

Rocket Staffing Group Ltd is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for a busy Slough bus depot. The role involves leading a high-performing engineering team, overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, and ensuring vehicle availability and safety compliance.

You will work with the Engineering Manager to deliver reliable service performance, support stock control, and collaborate with operations on breakdowns and changeovers. A supervisory background and UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
• HGV/PSV or commercial vehicle maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory/team leadership experience.
• Good knowledge of workshop safety and engineering standards.
• Organised and IT literate.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• PCV licence desirable but not essential.

Engineering Supervisor - Slough Bus Depot

Location: Slough

Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday

Salary: £52,000-£55,000 DOE

We're looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join a busy Slough bus depot and lead a high-performing engineering team.

Working alongside the Engineering Manager, you'll oversee planned and reactive maintenance, vehicle availability, fleet safety and regulatory compliance, while supporting the team to deliver reliable service performance.
