Job summary

Mitie is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to manage day-to-day delivery of hard services and building fabric maintenance within a busy airport terminal. You will lead a team of 11, coordinate with the client, and ensure works are planned, safe and completed on time.

The ideal candidate will hold a mechanical or electrical engineering qualification, have supervising experience, strong organisation and client-facing skills, and the ability to prioritise workloads and deliver within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering staff, allocate workloads and monitor performance.
• Manage hard services and building fabric maintenance activities.
• Ensure work is completed in line with KPIs, health and safety requirements, and Mitie's Quality Management System.
• Build strong working relationships with the client and attend approval meetings.
• Manage subcontractors and audit completed work orders.
• Review quotations, challenge costs and order required materials.
• Approve team holidays and overtime.
• Produce operational reports using the client's CAFM system.
• Support ad hoc projects as requested by the Account Manager.

Working closely with the client and leading a team of 11, you will ensure engineering activities are allocated effectively, completed safely and delivered within agreed timescales.
